STAFF ACCOUNTANT (Early Career) — On‑site | Denver Tech Center

What you’ll do:

Prepare individual, business, and trust income tax returns.

Support audit, review, compilation, and preparation engagements.

Analyze client books; post adjustments; assist with financial statements.

Research tax issues and assist with planning.
-
Build client relationships within a collaborative team.
What makes you a fit:

Solid Excel skills; comfort with common accounting/tax software.

Degree in accounting or related field preferred; CPA track a plus.
Work setting & hours:

In‑office (DTC).

Standard 8‑hour day with a consistent start between 7:30–9:30 a.m.

Busy season requires additional hours (see premium/overtime pay below).

Summer Fridays: every other Friday off from roughly May 15–Aug 1 (~6 extra PTO days).
Compensation & classification:
-
Base salary: $45,000–$70,000 (dependent on experience, skills, and credentials).

Classification & premium pay:
-
Non‑Exempt Track: ($45k–$56.5k base salary) with 1.5× OT after 40/week or 12/day.

Exempt Track: ($56.5k–$70k base salary) with a straight‑time premium after 40/week.

Other compensation: No standard/formulaic bonuses; discretionary spot awards may be used for extraordinary contributions.

Senior/Manager Accountant
SENIOR/MANAGER ACCOUNTANT (Experienced) — On‑site | Denver Tech Center

What you’ll do:

Prepare and review complex individual, business, and trust returns.

Lead audit, review, compilation, and preparation engagements.

Oversee financial statement preparation; resolve complex accounting issues.
-
Supervise, coach, and review work of junior staff; contribute to process improvement.
-
Support planning and advisory; manage client relationships.
What makes you a fit:
-
3+ years public accounting experience (more is welcome); review/engagement leadership.
-
Strong technical tax and/or assurance knowledge; supervisory experience preferred.
-
CPA preferred (or equivalent experience). Oil & gas exposure is a plus (not required).
Work setting & hours:

In‑office (DTC).
